Walking for a cause!

The Greater Bargoed Communities First Partnership are supporting our Parents Group in a sponsored walk to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
The group meet every Tuesday morning in Cartref, Cardiff Road, Bargoed between 10 and 12 for coffee and a chat. In the past few weeks the group have been learning basic welsh, had a cervical screening talk and lots more. In the near future they will be having a face painting work shop and food hygiene training.
The group have decided to raise some money for a good cause so have organised a sponsored walk through Parc Coitir Bargoed (Bargoed Woodland Park) to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
The walk will take place on 17th August 2010, starting at 10.30 by the Angel Lane entrance to the park. All ages are welcome so bring along the children to help raise funds for a worthy cause.
